WELCOME TO THE HAYS HOUSE MUSEUM
Where the 18th and early 19th centuries come alive in
Harford County!
The Hays House Museum offers visitors a glimpse into the daily life
of a well-to-do family during the Federal period of American history
(approximately 1788-1825) in a house that still retains much of its earliest
architecture and materials.
That life is enormously interesting and important, having taken place during
the birth of the United States
Throughout the year, the Hays House is the scene of many special
events with unique themes, such as Grandmas Apron,
the annual Ice Cream Social, Childrens Fun day, and house concerts.
Be sure to reserve your place early for our annual sellout Christmas Tea and Concert!
Visit our calendar for dates and details.
