The Hays House Museum proudly presents its 2nd Annual
Gingerbread House Contest
All entries will be on display at the Hays House throughout the month of December and
everyone is encouraged to come by and vote for their favorite!
The Hays House will be in all its holiday splendor with gorgeous natural decorations
and filled with festive music. Sure to warm every heart no matter how chilly the weather
outside, the Museum will be open every Sunday in December from 1pm-4pm with
regular admission fees applying except for our Holiday Open House on Sunday, December 7th.
Contest Details
The contest is open to individuals, families, community groups or businesses
and will be judged by the public during our Holly Tours with prizes to be awarded on December 21st.
There is no fee to enter the contest. More than one entry may be submitted
and an individual may also work as part of a group on separate entries.
The gingerbread construction may be in any configuration but is limited to a 2' x 3' area
for display and must be on its own board or base. If you are interested in entering
your sugary masterpiece, we invite you to register your entry using the form below
no later than November 16th. All entries must arrive
at the Hays House at 324 Kenmore Avenue in Bel Air absolutely no later
than Saturday, December 6th for entry in the contest; preferable delivery on
November 29th from 10am-2pm or November 30th from 1pm-4pm.
